Hey folks, I'm Tiana (they/them/theirs).
Thank you so much for taking time to check out my site & learn a bit about me.
I am a fluid being and lover of many things.
I am a solo parent of two really cool kids who brighten my life.
I adore being in nature, tending my plants,
dancing to Tina Turner, and watching videos of
raccoons popping bubbles.
Teaching is a place I feel great joy & connection;
a place I feel at home.
I share all the ways I am a hot mess human; and all the ways mindfulness and self-compassion support me in moving through the hot messiness with more equanimity, wisdom, and love.
I care deeply about sharing the tools I've learned to help others be kind to themselves;
because I believe healing our inner world has the power to heal the world around us.
My identities play an important role in what, how, and why I offer the content I do.
I identify as queer, non-binary, and have been living with chronic illness for fourteen years.
My work is focused on serving the queer, trans, gender non-conforming population; as well as other marginalized groups including BIPOC, individuals with chronic illness and/or disabilites, single parents, and women.
I have completed training through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion and am currently a student of the two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program through Sounds True under the guidance of Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield.
